Ask Help

When you search the help with a complete sentence, a button Ask with a sentence will be offered above the results. The answer will consist of those help pages that relate to the inquiry, and it will be displayed along with links to them.

When to use it

Search compares words. “Folder” will find the page about folders, but “how do I pay by card” won’t match the text because those words do not appear together. This is exactly what inquiries can unravel.

There is no change to the search: the results below the answer remain and can be opened just like before. The answer is an addition, not a replacement.

Where the answer comes from

Only from the help pages. The answer does not know your documents, does not look into your account, and has no access to any data. If the answer is not in the help, it will say so and indicate which page is the closest.

That is why it is also worthwhile to go through the pages that the answer cites as sources. They contain the full context, while the answer consists of just a few sentences from it.

What you won't get an answer to:

InquiryWhy not
“Can I deduct VAT from this document?”Accounting and tax questions belong to your accountant, not the application's help.
“How much do I pay for the Scale tariff?”Prices are in the price list and in Billing; the answer does not infer any numbers.
“Why did document number 47 come out wrong?”The answer cannot see your specific document. For that, there is a verification form and the Activity tab.

How much can you ask

One hundred inquiries per account per day. The limit resets at midnight and will notify you when there aren’t many left. The help itself and searching within it remain open all the time; there is no limit on those.

Inquiries do not cost credits. Credits are paid for processing documents, not for questions about how the application works.

Answers are available only for logged-in accounts; the button is not present in the demo account.

When the answer doesn’t come

Sometimes a sentence appears instead of an answer, stating that it could not be constructed right now. Most often, this means that documents are currently being processed, and those take priority — they have been paid for. The search results below still apply, and you can try again in a little while.

Help in your own agent

Those using the connection via MCP (see the Integration chapter) have access to the tool search_help. It will return entire help pages so that ChatGPT, Claude, or another agent can ask on your behalf and respond in their own words. This tool does not return documents or account data.

The daily cap of one hundred inquiries also applies here, counted separately from the answers in the application.
