Interface Guide
The application has a single screen divided into tabs. Above them is a bar showing the account usage, and below is the content of the selected tab.
Tabs
- Documents — uploading and listing documents. This is where you will spend most of your time.
- Due Dates — received invoices waiting to be paid. The number next to the tab indicates how many are overdue.
- Counterparties — suppliers and customers as known by your documents.
- Overviews — totals of amounts by period, currencies, and types of documents.
- Schemas — what is read from the document and in what format.
- Activity — what has happened in the account, who did it, and when.
- Settings — company, processing, document reception, integrations, API, labels, folders.
- Billing — subscriptions and invoices.
- Help — this text and news. A dot next to the tab means that there is something in the news that you have not read yet; it will disappear as soon as you open the page.
In application headings, you will find a circle with a question mark. It will show what that section is about and offer to open the full page in the panel on the right edge. The panel stands next to your work: the page beneath it continues to function, allowing you to set it up immediately according to the guide. It closes with a cross or the Escape key. With Ctrl (on Mac Cmd), the link opens in a new browser tab.
If the panel covers something you need to see, grab it by the header and pull it aside. The button in the header returns it back to the edge. The position you pulled it to is remembered by the browser.
There is no trash bin among the tabs. Deleted documents are in it, which can be accessed by the button next to the document list header.
The tab is part of the address. The link /app/documents can be sent to a colleague or saved in the browser bookmarks. The same goes for an open document: /app/documents/<id> will open a specific document directly in the window. Help pages also have addresses, for example, /app/help/documents-trash.
Account Usage Bar
Above the tabs, you can see the plan, monthly credits with renewal date, purchased credits, and how much space the stored files occupy. Hovering the mouse shows how many pages you can still extract from credits and what comprises the occupied space. Occupancy over ninety percent of the quota will turn yellow. On the phone, the bar is collapsed into one line.
Header
In the header, there is a language switch, a light and dark theme toggle, and a logout option. On the phone, these are hidden in the menu under an icon.
Keyboard Control
In the review form, you navigate between fields using the tab key. Pressing Enter alone will not confirm the document to avoid accidental confirmation in the middle of items — confirmation is done by the button or the shortcut Ctrl+Enter (on Mac ⌘↵). The document window is closed with Escape; when the window is full-screen, the first Escape will just minimize it and the second will close it. You can switch between documents using the arrow keys in the header of the window.
Light and Dark Theme
There are three options: light, dark, and system default. The toggle is in the application header and in the settings. The choice is saved in the browser, so you will set it again on another computer.
